STATS & FACTS

The Grand Beach Open is an annual Elite Level Doubles beach volleyball tournament, located at Grand Beach, Manitoba on Lake Winnipeg. The tournament is completely volunteer-driven.  The tournament is the biggest and most successful Elite Doubles Beach Volleyball event in Manitoba.

This tournament has been held for over 40 years, missing a few years, most recently due to COVID.  The 2023 event was the first year back in four years.  It featured 54 of Manitoba’s Elite Beach volleyball athletes.  Plans are to increase that number to 64 or more athletes, for the 2024 event.

The Event will include both an Elite Women’s Open Division and an Elite Men’s Open Division, ranging in age from 16-45.

We promote a fun, family-friendly environment, and guarantee a great experience.

Volleyball players and spectators are an important demographic both as consumers and business executives, and a small donation gets your name in front of our players and spectators, from now through the end of the tournament, and beyond. The players benefit because your sponsorship allows us to provide the venue, food and refreshments for the players and volunteers, as well as prize Money for the competitors. We need to have your donation and company logo no later than May 1, 2024 in order to be certain that we can have all materials readied by the start of the event.

SPONSORSHIP CATEGORIES

PLATINUM - CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE Sponsor - $15,000-$25,000+

1. “CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE SPONSOR” for all “Open Beach Events” - 4 Events Minimum per Season.
2. Example: The Tournament will be called the “THE GRAND BEACH OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP SPONSORED BY”
3. Prize Money will be awarded to the top winning team, 1st Place Finish with “CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE SPONSOR” on the “OVER-SIZED CHEQUE” presented. “CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE SPONSOR” representative can be present to present the cheque to the winning team.
4. Event Trophy or Medals and T-Shirt, 1st Place Finish with “CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE SPONSOR” name on it awarded to winning team. “CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE SPONSOR” representative can be present to present the award to the winning teams.
5. Everything on the GOLD Sponsor List, but including 8 pyramid banners displayed around the Championship court, and 10 pyramid banners spread on auxiliary courts.

GOLD - CO-TITLE Sponsor-$5,000-$14,000

1. SPONSOR for all “Open Beach Events” - 4 Events Minimum per Season.
2. SPONSOR will have a separate profile page on the event Web Page.
3. Prize Money and or Prizes will be awarded to the 2nd and 3rd Place Finish with SPONSOR’s name on the “OVER-SIZED CHEQUE” presented (if applicable). SPONSOR representative can be present to present the cheque to the winning teams.
4. Event Medals & T-Shirt, 2nd and 3rd Place Finish with SPONSOR name on it awarded to winning teams. SPONSOR representative can be present to present the awards.
5. Everything on the MATCH Sponsor List, but including 6 pyramid banners displayed around the Championship court, and 8 pyramid banners on auxiliary courts.

MATCH Sponsors: $2,000

1. The MATCH Sponsor will be listed on the event Web Page.
2. Sponsor’s logo or name featured on the event T-shirt given to all volunteers.
3. Everything on the SET Sponsor List, but including 4 pyramid banners displayed around the Championship court, and 6 pyramid banners on auxiliary courts.

SET Sponsors: $1,000

1. Sponsor will have 2-2’ x 6’ pyramid banners displayed prominently at the tournament venue, around the Championship court, and 2 pyramid banners on auxiliary courts
2. Sponsor’s name will be announced over the PA system during the event.
3. Sponsor’s Logo or name on the RESULTS Board.
4. Everything that is included on the GAME Sponsor List.

GAME Sponsors: $500

1. The GAME Sponsor will be listed on the tournament’s “Sponsored by” page on the tournament’s Web Page.
2. Sponsor’s Logo or name on the refreshment table.

POINT Sponsors: $100

1. The donor’s name will be displayed on the tournament’s “Sponsored by” page on the tournament’s Web Page.

OTHER SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

PLAYERS NUTRITION TENT:  Budget TBD with Sponsor

1. Provide nutritious food items/snacks (protein/energy bars, fruit) and beverages (water, electrolyte drinks, ETC) for the tournament.

Sponsor can advertise and have representation on site.

PLAYERS RECOVERY/HEALTH & WELLNESS TENT:  Budget TBD with Sponsor

1. “SPONSOR” can provide one or more of the following either by volunteering services or provide budget to provide: On-site physiotherapist, massage therapist and first aider

• Sponsor can advertise and have representation on site

ENTERTAINMENT: $4000 per Season

1. MC for all Men’s and Women’s Championship Final Matches for a minimum of 4 Open Tournaments ($500 per Tournament).
2. DJ for a minimum of 4 Open Tournaments which includes all necessary equipment ($500 per Tournament)

• Sponsor can advertise and have representation on site

MULTI-MEDIA: Budget TBD with Sponsor

1. “SPONSOR” can provide one or more of the following: Provide print and social media advertising of events and training seminars; radio advertisements promoting the Open Tournament Events. Sponsor can advertise and have representation on site

PLAYER & SPECTATOR WELLNESS: Budget TBD with Sponsor

1. “SPONSOR” can provide one or more of the following: free sunglasses, free sunscreen, umbrellas (can be returned after use if needed), chairs (can be returned after use if needed), beach blankets (can be returned after use if needed), free hats, free gifts (beach or product related), free beverages, free snacks, ETC.

• Give-a-ways can be announced via our DJ or MC.
• Creative games can be done to create hype and participation
• Sponsor can advertise and have representation on site
